MAILING SERVICES

• Laser Address Printing: Evergreen is a full-service direct-mail provider. We can take your mailing list and laser print your addresses directly on all the mail you have printed here, or we can laser print addresses on mail you have pre-printed. Addresses printed directly on your mailers, instead of addressing them to Occupant, have a better delivery rate than other mailers, and will also have an improved response to your advertisements.
• Bar-coded Addresses: The post office prefers it these days, and you'll have faster delivery to accurate addresses. What are they? They are actual bar codes beneath addresses that encode the ZIP+4. With high-speed postal scanning capabilities, using a bar code in your address can eliminate days from the delivery time of your mail piece. In addition, bar coding addresses of necessity checks them for compatibility, eliminating pieces that have bad mailing addresses. This can reduce your postage cost by as much as 33% compared to presorted standard mail, and 51% compared to first-class mail.
• Tab Seals: Remember those little round stickers on the edges of folded bulk mail that you have to break to open your mail? These are there because the post office requires them on all mail. Unsealed, inadequately sealed, or stapled folded mail can jam automated postal equipment, causing a serious loss of time as the post office unjams the equipment. If the jam is bad enough, it may even break equipment.
  
  For this reason, the post office checks all bulk mail packages; if some or all are improperly sealed, they will reject the entire load of mail.
  
  Evergreen performs the tedious task of tab-sealing your mailers, with one seal in the middle for top-opening mail pieces and two at the bottom an inch from either end for bottom-opening pieces. Tab sealing mail properly saves you time, money, and wasted effort.
• Mechanical Inserting: When your letters and sales material are placed in the right order in the envelope, it increases your chance of making a sale. Our mechanical inserting process can guarantee your materials of all sizes, shapes, and consistencies are inserted in the correct order – one that you select.
• Folding: You need to have the proper fold for your mail piece, and when you're working with non-standard papers, this can be a tricky proposition. Evergreen can ensure that your mail pieces meet postal requirements for letter and flat mail, but still ensure the size and shape are arranged for maximum impact. It is probably a good idea, if you need this service, to also take advantage of Evergreen's printing processes; we can ensure that the print job is perfect for the folding of the completed piece.
• Labeling Mail Pieces: For certain odd-shaped or three-dimensional mail pieces, inkjet printing may not be a viable option for addressing your mail. In this case, we can print and apply inkjet address labels to your mail piece, including the bar codes that can save you time and money.

Mailing Lists: Building your Customer, Voter, and Donor Base

• Occupant List: This list type can deliver high impact at the lowest possible postage rates. You select the neighborhoods you want to get mail to: residential areas near your new pizza delivery business, new residents in a district, or specific carrier routes. Evergreen sets up a mailing list from their custom software that can print out the addresses on pieces you provide or have us print for you. It's the no-hassle, no-error way to target neighborhoods.
• Consumer List: Some businesses prefer to target customers that match a specific customer profile. With Evergreen's mailing list services, you can select your targeted list by gender, income, the presence of children, and neighborhood. We also have information on more obscure things, like automobile make and model, whether or not they own a boat or home, etc.
• Business List: Just like occupant lists, you may want to be able to target businesses by area; or you may want to mail to businesses according to their business type, newness, sales volume, staff size, and other variables.
• Professional List: With our specialized lists, even if your professionals don't maintain a formal office, you can target doctors, chiropractors, dentists, lawyers, insurance agents, and many others.
